Produced to commemorate the Mercedes-Benz racing cars of the 1930s, each Silver Arrow produced was finished in Silver Arrow Metallic (777). This example is equipped with a unique front spoiler, lower side skirts, and rear apron as part of the AMG Styling Package as well as a power-retractable black soft top, xenon headlights, and Silver Arrow badging. The convertible top hydraulic cylinders were replaced in preparation for the sale with components sourced from Top Hydraulics of Florence, Oregon.
Multi-piece 18″ wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires displaying 2019 date codes, and an alignment was performed when the tires were fitted. An Electronic Stability Program (ESP) was equipped from the factory, and braking is handled by cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
Cabin finishes include two-tone black and silver Nappa leather on the heated and power-adjustable seats, door panel inserts, shift knob, and steering wheel. Amenities include black wood veneers that were refinished in 2018 along with cruise control, automatic climate control, a retractable roll bar, a factory cassette stereo, and a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer. The air-conditioning system was overhauled in 2019 with a replacement compressor and drier.
The instrument cluster is aLented with engine-turned trim and houses a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a clock along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and instant economy. The odometer indicates just under 19k miles.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. An oil change was performed in October 2020, and the battery was replaced in 2019.
