This 1937 Ford coupe was refurbished and modified under previous ownership before it was acquired by the seller in 2017. The 14″ front and 15″ rear aluminum wheels feature three-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with Sigma Shadow tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering, a straight front axle is fitted, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The low-back bucket seats are trimmed in burgundy cloth, and a matching headliner, door panels, and carpets are fitted. Features include a rear storage shelf, a fire extinguisher, and a JVC cassette player.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel sits on a tilting column. VDO instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, 3k of which were added under current ownership. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 327ci Chevrolet V8 was installed under previous ownership and features an Edelbrock intake manifold as well as a finned air cleaner and valve covers. An engine service and an oil change were reportedly performed in October 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission.
