This 1947 Ford Super Deluxe convertible was refurbished in the late 1990s and was purchased by the current owner in June 2020. It is finished in cream over a two-tone tan interior, and power is provided by a 239ci flathead V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a tan convertible top, air conditioning, an Alpine stereo, and a stainless steel exhaust system.
The car was repainted cream during the refurbishment and features a power-retractable tan convertible top in addition to front and rear chrome bumpers with overriders. Additional exterior details include dual side mirrors, parking lights, and a chrome grille, headlight surrounds, and horizontal side trim.
Steel 15″ wheels are finished in cream with red pinstriping and wear chrome Ford hubcaps and trim rings. Remington Cushion-Aire whitewall tires are fitted all around. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drums.
The interior features two rows of bench seating that has been reupholstered in two-tone tan in addition to matching door panels and a painted steel dashboard. An aftermarket under-dash air-conditioning system, an Alpine Bluetooth stereo, and kick panel speakers are fitted.
The ivory-color two-spoke steering wheel features a horn ring an eight-ball brodie knob and fronts a 100-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 239ci flathead V8 was factory rated at 100 horsepower when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
