This 1955 Nash Metropolitan is a Series II convertible that has been refinished in red over white and is powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes an ivory convertible top, a Continental-style spare tire, and chrome bumpers and hub caps. The seller acquired the car out of Nevada in May 2021 and relocated it to Arizona. The brakes were recently serviced and the carpeting, water pump, and hoses were recently replaced according to the seller.
The car was refinished in red during previous ownership and features white #55 roundels on the doors. Additional features include an ivory convertible top, chrome bumpers and trim, fender-mounted mirrors, and a rear-mounted spare wheel and tire with a matching ivory cover. Paint cracking and checking is noted on the doors and front body panels.
White-painted 13″ steel wheels wear chrome Metropolitan-branded hubcaps and 155/80 SA4 tires. The brakes are said to have been recently serviced.
