The car was repainted white under prior ownership and features a replacement black soft top, a chrome front bumper with overriders, and rear bumperettes. The seller notes dull paint on the passenger side rear fender along with paint lifting along the driver’s rear quarter seam, touched-up chips, rust on the front bumper, improper door windlace installation. Side curtains and an older fiberglass hardtop are included in the sale.
Minator 13″ alloy wheels wear 175/70 General Altimax RT43 tires showing 2014 date codes. Braking is handled by drums at all four corners.
The bucket seats are finished in red vinyl with white piping, and the cabin features matching carpets, dashboard, and door pockets. Equipment includes a heater, chrome passenger grab handle, a rear compartment that houses a full size spare, and three-point seatbelts.
A leather-trimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instruments including a tachometer, a 100-mph speedometer, and a five-digit odometer that shows 36k miles.
A replacement 1,275cc inline-four was installed some time ago and features twin SU carburetors, a painted valve cover, stainless-steel rear muffler, and a modern alternator disguised as a generator. The carburetors were reportedly recently refreshed and adjusted and the oil changed.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a replacement “ribcase” four-speed manual transmission.
