This 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible is finished in red over a matching vinyl interior and is powered by a replacement 427ci V8 mated to a floor-shifted three-speed automatic transmission. The car was owned by the seller’s father for approximately two decades before being inherited by the seller two years ago. Maintenance performed since that time included replacing the spark plugs, battery, alternator, and engine oil. Features include front bucket seats, a black convertible top, body-color Torq Thrust-style wheels, chrome exterior trim, a Hurst T-handle shifter, and a push-button radio.
The car has been repainted in red and features a black convertible top that stows under a red top boot. Brightwork includes dual fender-mounted mirrors, side trim, and bumpers. Rear fender skirts are included in the sale, and 427 fender badges have been added.
The 15” Torq Thrust-style wheels feature body-color centers and are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.

The factory 289ci V8 was replaced with a 427ci V8 featuring “Cobra 427” valve covers under previous ownership. It is said to have been serviced with spark plugs, an alternator, a battery, a voltage regulator, and oil under current ownership.
