Finished in silver with a black soft top over a black vinyl interior, the car is powered by a replacement 327ci V8 paired with a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. Features include a Delco AM/FM push-button radio, a body-colored hardtop, power-assisted steering and four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, pop-up headlights, power windows, and chrome bumpers and trim.
The fiberglass bodywork came factory-finished in Silver Pearl (986) and features a black soft top. A replacement power antenna motor has been fitted and the pop-up headlight motors have been rebuilt per the seller. Additional features include a body-colored removable hardtop, a driver’s side-view mirror, front fender vents, side-exit exhaust pipes, and chrome split bumpers. Replacement weatherstripping on the body and top has been installed, and areas of chipped and flaking paintwork are present. A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames a refurbished gauge cluster housing replacement instruments including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary displays for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows just over 43k miles.
The replacement 327ci V8 was rebuilt in November 2020, bored .040 over, and fitted with rebuilt double-hump cylinder heads, Eagle connecting rods, and replacement pistons. Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock AVS carburetor and aluminum intake manifold, a rebuilt alternator, DeWitts aluminum radiator and electric fan, as well as a replacement fuel tank, pump, and sending unit. Recent work performed by Pyramid Automotive, Inc. of St. Petersburg, Florida included the installation of a Melling hydraulic roller tappet camshaft and lifters, as well as a replacement oil pump, main bearing, rod bearing, push rods, and gaskets. Receipts from the work are provided, and the removed intake manifold and Holley four-barrel carburetor are included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission that has also been rebuilt and fitted with a RAM pressure plate and clutch.
