This 1966 Ford Mustang has reportedly spent much of its life in Oregon and was acquired by the selling in 2020. Work has since included a repaint in gray, along with the installation of a replacement 289ci V8 and a C4 three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes white vinyl upholstery, an Edelbrock carburetor, aftermarket 15” wheels, and a cassette stereo.
The car was repainted its current shade of gray under current ownership. Trim pieces are also said to have been replaced at that time, and the car is equipped with chrome bumpers and rocker moldings.
Aftermarket 15” wheels with black centers and polished lips are mounted with Milestar Streetsteel tires that measure 235/60 all around. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in white vinyl along with black carpets and two-tone door panels. An aftermarket cassette stereo has been installed in the center of the dashboard, though it is not hooked up per the seller.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer flanked by four auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The factory 200ci inline-six has been replaced with a 289ci V8 equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor. The engine is said to have been rebuilt and fitted with a replacement starter, alternator, headers, and exhaust. The engine bay has been coated with a spray-on bedliner.
A C4 three-speed automatic transmission has been installed in place of the original manual gearbox.
