The 499L inline-twin was reportedly rebuilt in Italy, with replacement items including the starter motor, dynamo cover, and heater hoses. The car is said to have been rewired. Recent service included an oil change and replacing the battery.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. An aftermarket muffler has been installed.
