This 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 was acquired by the seller approximately two years ago following a period of storage, and it was subsequently mechanically and cosmetically refurbished. The Bertone-designed body was refinished in Blu Francia during current ownership, and features polished bumpers, stainless trim, and a single chrome door mirror. The seller states that the glass was removed during the repaint, and that rubber seals and weatherstripping were replaced during reassembly. Corrosion spots in the floor panels were cut out and replaced during the refurbishment work, and the rear bumper was replaced during current ownership.
14″ steel wheels wear chrome Alfa Romeo-logo hubcaps and are wrapped in 195/70 Firestone All Season radial tires that were installed during current ownership. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and service performed since 2018 included replacement of the master cylinder, parking brake cable, parking brake shoes, and calipers and pads. The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in tan vinyl with patterned inserts along with matching door panels, salt-and-pepper carpets, and a black dash pad. Additional equipment includes black front shoulder belts, matching rear lap belts, and woodgrain trim on the dashboard and center console. The seller states that refurbishment work since 2018 included replacing the carpets, the dashboard, the door panels, and the rear seat upholstery.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer with an inset oil-pressure gauge. Ancillary gauges in the center stack provide readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature, and the five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 50 of which were added by the seller since 2018. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt during current ownership. Service since 2018 included replacement of the clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, clutch disc, and pressure plate.
