This 1972 Ford Bronco was acquired by the current owner in 2017 out of Florida and was relocated to Arizona. Subsequent refurbishment work included replacing the body with a reproduction steel body sourced from Dennis Carpenter as well as installing a 347ci V8 along with a five-speed manual transmission and a twin-stick transfer case. Additional equipment includes Fox Racing suspension components, Raceline wheels, vacuum-assisted brakes with Wilwood front discs, a bikini top, Procar front bucket seats, JL Audio Bluetooth speakers, and an aftermarket climate control system with air conditioning.
The reproduction steel body is finished in blue and features black-painted bumpers, a black bikini top, powered side steps, and a swing-away rear tire carrier. The frame and axles were powder-coated in black aLording to the seller, who reports that the complete tub and front sheet metal components were replaced with reproduction parts.
Raceline 15″ wheels are finished in black and wrapped in 33×10.5″ General Grabber X3 tires. A 3″ lift is fitted along with Fox Racing suspension components and a quick-disconnect rear sway bar. Stopping power is provided by a Wilwood vacuum-assisted master cylinder and Wilwood front discs along with rear drums, and the truck is equipped with power steering.
The interior features manually-adjustable Procar bucket seats and a removable factory-style rear seat trimmed in black with matching door panel inserts and floor mats. The floor is coated with spray-in bedliner, and features include an aftermarket climate control system, a roll bar, JL Audio Speakers with Bluetooth connectivity, a locking Tuffy center console, a glove box, and seat belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Classic Instruments gauge cluster that consists of a 140-mph speedometer surrounded by a tachometer and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 500 miles. The speedometer does not work, and total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 347ci V8 crate engine was installed during the build and is equipped with an EZ EFI throttle-body fuel injection system. The seller notes that the self-tuning function of the EFI system oLasionally needs to be reset.
Power is sent to the front, rear, or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a twin-stick transfer case.
