The car was finished from the factory in Jasmine Yellow (34) and was repainted a darker shade of yellow in 2008 after receiving rust repair in the left rear quarter panel. A replacement black soft top was installed at that time, and additional work is said to have included re-chroming the brightwork and replacing the rubber seals. A tonneau cover, top boot, uninstalled luggage rack, and spare bullet-style side mirror are included in the sale.
Factory 15″ wheels wear aluminum trim rings, TR6 center caps, and 185-series Michelin X redline tires that should be replaced due to age per the seller. The brake system features front discs and rear drums and was reportedly overhauled under current ownership. The shocks, bushings, and seals are also said to have been replaced.
The interior was finished from the factory in Tan (33) and was reupholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels, carpets, and a rear package shelf. Amenities include a wood-trimmed dashboard with a locking glovebox, a wood shift knob, a heater, and a cassette stereo with aftermarket speakers.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles.
The 2.5-liter inline-six features twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. An oil change was performed in May 2021.
The four-speed manual transmission is equipped with overdrive and was reportedly refreshed with a replacement clutch and pressure plate in the late 1990s.
