Features include a Vintage Air HVAC system, Hella H4 headlights,Coco floor mats, and 13″ ATS alloy wheels. The carburetors were adjusted, the air conditioning system repaired, and the driveshaft flex disc was replaced in August 2020, while an oil change and inspection were performed more recently.
The Michelotti-penned bodywork was finished from the factory in Inka (022) and is believed to have been refinished some time ago. Features include Euro-market chrome bumpers with front overriders, round taillights, bodyside moldings, Hella H4 headlights, pop-out rear side windows, and dual side mirrors. A replacement windshield was fitted during previous ownership.
Black-finished 13″ ATS alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/60 Kumho Solus TA11 tires showing 2016 production codes.
The interior is trimmed in black with vinyl seats and a matching dashboard and door panels. Black and orange checker-weave Coco mats cover the carpets. A Vintage Air HVAC system has been added and uses R134a refrigerant.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-km/h speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. Repairs were performed on the instrument cluster in 2016. The five-digit mechanical odometer indicates 87k kilometers (~54k miles).
The replacement 2.0-liter inline-four is equipped with dual Weber DCOE side-draft carburetors and was overhauled in 2016, which included machining the crankshaft, connecting rods, and cylinder head, along with the installation of replacement bearings and rocker arms along with 9.5:1 compression Maxsil pistons. The seller notes the carburetors were adjusted, a leak in the air conditioning system was repaired, and an oil change was performed by Ronin Autowerks of Fullerton, California in August 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission that was installed some time during prior ownership. The transmission fluid was exchanged and the flex disc was reportedly replaced in August 2020.
A plaque showing the car on the cover of Roundel magazine, a copy of the magazine, and the 2016 Bavaria Tour Rally plate are included in the sale. 87k Kilometers (~54k Miles) Shown, TMU
