This 1975 MG MGB Roadster was acquired by the seller as a project in 2013 and has since been refinished in orange over tan leather upholstery. The car was repainted in its current shade of orange by the seller in 2018 and features a black convertible top, polished side moldings, triple windshield wipers, vent windows, chrome bumpers with overriders, and a chrome luggage rack. The bumpers and luggage rack were reportedly refinished under current ownership, and rust in the floorboard was patched at the time of the repaint. The seller states that the soft top frame has been powder coated and assembled with zinc-plated hardware.
Gray-finished 14″ Rostyle wheels wear MG center logos and are mounted with Kumho Solus tires that show 2021 date codes. The seller has reportedly replaced the shocks and overhauled the brake system during their ownership.
The interior features replacement tan leather upholstery from Moss Motors on the seats and door panels, along with matching-color carpets. The dash wears a black Moss Motors cover and is equipped with a glovebox and climate vents. Additional amenities include lap belts, manually-operated windows, and black sun visors. The seller states that the seat rails have been replaced.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles.
The replacement 1.8-liter inline-four is equipped with a Zenith-Stromberg carburetor and was reportedly fitted with a replacement cylinder head in June 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
