The body wears an older repaint in the factory Light Ivory and features a color-matched removable roof panel, black sail panels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and black bumpers. The seller notes that fiberglass rocker panels have been added.
15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 205/50 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires showing 2016 date codes. The suspension is equipped with adjustable Koni front shocks and a front sway bar. The braking system is said to be equipped with braided stainless lines, a 19mm master cylinder, and BMW front calipers.
The cabin is equipped with fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in tan leather along with a matching rear bulkhead and door panels and a contrasting black dashboard. A Blaupunkt cassette stereo is mounted in the factory location, and a modern Pioneer head unit is mounted below the dash. A set of multi-colored Coco Mats is included in the sale.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 7k-rpm tachometer and a 150-mph speedometer. A combination gauge for oil temperature and oil pressure was installed to the left of the speedometer, and the five-digit odometer shows 79k miles.
The 2.0-liter flat-four was rebuilt in 2012. Work included boring the cylinders, repairing the cylinder heads, and replacing the exhaust studs. An Electromotive ignition system was also installed at that time.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch and throwout bearing were replaced in October 2012.
