This 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser was sold new by Toyota of Palo Alto in California and was acquired five years ago by the seller, who refurbished it over the past two years. The work is said to have included repainting the body and powder-coating the frame as well as installation of an Old Man Emu leaf springs, new braking components, replacement front axle seals, and stainless steel exterior fasteners. Power is provided by a 4.2-liter straight-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and the truck features a period dealer-installed Warn winch, steel wheels with all-terrain tires, and rear jump seats. This FJ40 is offered with tools, period warranty documents and service records, owner’s manuals, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The body is said to have undergone rust repairs using replacement sheet metal before being repainted in blue with a white roof. Additional work reportedly included cadmium-plating existing hardware as well as installation of stainless steel exterior nuts and bolts. The Warn M8274 winch was dealer-installed in period and comes with a remote controller, and the truck also features a receiver hitch bolted to the rear bumper.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Drivetrain fluid changes are said to have been carried out.
The frame was reportedly sandblasted prior to being powder-coated in black. Additional work included repacking the front wheel bearings, replacing the front axle seals, and rebuilds of the clutch master and slave cylinders.
