The car was acquired by the seller’s father in 2005, and subsequent work reportedly included a repaint as well as replacement of the seat upholstery and carpet.
The current owner commissioned repaint in its factory Midas Gold Metallic (GCC), and the car features a tan soft top, a matching boot cover, a luggage rack, and rubber bumpers.
Factory 13″ cast-aluminum wheels wear 205/60 Cooper Cobra tires bearing 2004 date codes. A BFGoodrich tire is mounted to the matching spare wheel stored in the trunk.
The car was delivered from the factory with Golden Tan Check (RAG) upholstery, and during current ownership the cabin was reupholstered with saddle seating surfaces, door panels and Wilton wool carpets. A Sony stereo has been fitted in the stock location, and a three-spoke Moto Lita steering wheel fronts the factory instrument binnacle. Shoulder belts are equipped for both occupants, and discoloration is visible on the sun visors.
Smiths gauges include an 85-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer showing just over 33k miles.
The aluminum-block 3.5-liter Rover V8 features a pair of Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was factory rated at 133 horsepower when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Portions of the engine bay have a chrome finish applied.
Dual paired chrome tips were added to the exhaust system.
