This 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is finished in Guards Red over black and red leather, and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The body was reportedly refinished in its factory Guard Red under previous ownership and features front and rear spoilers along with red-painted Targa badges on the B-pillars. The black Targa roof panel was reportedly recovered in preparation for the sale, and additional equipment includes fog lights, headlamp washers, painted mirror caps, and a single-outlet exhaust.
Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs wheels feature black centers and polished lips and are mounted with Yokohama AVS ES100 tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back.
The cabin features bucket seats that were reupholstered in black leather with contrasting red inserts and piping. Additional interior equipment includes a Blaupunkt Florida RD 168 CD stereo, cruise control, floor mats, and power windows. Two Porsche-branded floor mats along with the removed steering wheel and Blaupunkt Stuttgart cassette stereo aLompany the car.
A leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central 7k-rpm tachometer, a 170-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for temperature, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 114k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the current owner.
The 3.2-liter flat-six was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller notes that maintenance performed in January 2021 included an oil change along with installation of replacement aLessory belts, spark plugs, and ignition wires.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The underhood options code sticker highlights the following equipment:
