This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is finished in black over matching leather and powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a removable roof panel, chrome-finished 16″ Fuchs wheels, a whale-tail rear spoiler, air conditioning, cruise control, and a JVC CD stereo with auxiliary inputs.. The car was acquired by the seller in California in 2014, and subsequent work has reportedly included fluid changes, servicing of the air conditioning system, and replacement of the fuel pump, shifter bushings, and catalytic converter.
The exterior is finished in black and features integrated front fog lights, a “whale-tail” rear spoiler, and a removable black Targa roof panel. The hood and mirror caps were reportedly repainted during current ownership. Noted flaws include inoperable windshield washers and tears in the Targa top outer vinyl.
Chrome-finished 16″ Fuchs wheels wear BFGoodrich G-Force Sport tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. The car was optioned from the factory with sport shock absorbers. A brake fluid flush was reportedly performed upon the seller’s acquisition.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black leather with matching carpets protected by Carrera-script floor mats. Additional equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, electric windows, and an aftermarket JVC CD stereo with USB and auxiliary inputs. The seller notes wear on the carpet by the clutch pedal.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 98k miles.
The 3.2-liter flat-six sends power to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. Maintenance under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, battery, shifter bushings, and catalytic converter as well as the air conditioning evaporator, drier, and lines. The engine oil was changed in April 2021.
An owner’s manual is included in the sale along with two keys and recent service records.
