The truck was repainted in White (033) under current ownership, reportedly following rust repairs to the rain channels as well as other bodywork. The front bumper was rechromed and the front grille replaced along with the headlight frames, door and cargo seals, taillamps, badges, windshield, and bumper end caps. The headlamp washers are inoperable, and rust is noted along the replacement rain rails. The paint finish is said to have been ceramic coated following the paintwork.
Chrome 15″ wheels wear 30×9.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires with 2015 date codes, and a Michelin spare is mounted under the cargo area. The ride height has been raised approximately 2.5″ using an Old Man Emu suspension kit. Additional modifications consist of a custom 2″ receiver hitch, 1″ rear wheel spacers, KC driving lamps with smiley covers, tinted sliding cargo windows, a Kato halogen headlight conversion, LED reverse lamps, FJ62 side mirrors, and a polymer shorty antenna.
The cabin houses front bucket seats with replacement foam inserts and striped brown cloth upholstery, which matches that used on the door panel inserts. All four inner doors, the cargo area, the ceiling, and the floors are said to have been treated with butyl sound deadening material. Additional work under current ownership included replacement of two window regulators, the ashtray, and the fusebox panel as well as installation of a lockable storage console with cupholders, an FJ80 rearview mirror, a color-matched dash cap, and an inclinometer. A Sony touchscreen stereo with a backup camera is linked to a five-channel amplifier and replacement speakers.
A stock steering wheel with an aftermarket wrap frames an 85-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage.
The gauge surround and HVAC housing are worn, while the air conditioning system is said to have been recharged with R12 refrigerant in the last two years.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six was serviced with a replacement side cover seal in 2018 and a remanufactured power steering pump in 2019. The alternator and vacuum hoses were also replaced aLording to the seller, and an Optima Redtop battery was fitted. A new smog pump was installed and the ignition timing adjusted in 2020.
Stainless steel piping and a Magnaflow catalytic converter replace the stock exhaust system. Power is routed through an H55F five-speed manual transmission that was installed in 2018 along with replacement transfer case seals. A new clutch and rear main seal were fitted in 2017.
