The CRX was redesigned for the 1988 model year, and this example was finished from the factory in Polar White (NH512) with black trim and side moldings. Aftermarket tint has been applied to the windows, and aLessories include window visors, dual side mirrors, and Honda-branded mud flaps. The seller describes stone chips on the front end, hood, and fenders. Close-up photos of the glass and lenses are provided in the gallery.
Silver-painted 13″ steel wheels with Honda center caps wear Kumho Optimo HT724 tires. The car was factory-equipped with multi-link suspension, a front stabilizer bar, power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, and manual steering.
The blue interior features two-tone cloth upholstery on the bolstered seats as well as color-matched carpets and trim. Amenities include a cassette stereo, a center console with an armrest, and a heated rear window. Two sets of factory floor mats are included in the sale, and an air-conditioning system has been retrofitted. The seller notes a hole in the carpeting in the passenger footwell.
Instrumentation includes a 125-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a six-digit mechanical odometer that displays approximately 12k miles.
The 1.5-liter D15B6 inline-four features eight valves and multi-point electronic fuel injection. Factory-rated output was 62 horsepower and 90 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
