The Peter Stevens restyle of the Esprit in 1987 included revised lower body panels, all new glass panels, and tail lights sourced from Toyota. The fiberglass bodywork on this example is finished in red with black lower sections.
15″ factory-equipped Route OZ wheels are mounted with older Goodyear Eagle NCT60 tires, and a spare wheel wearing a Goodyear Grand Prix tire is located in the front trunk along with a tool kit.
The cabin is trimmed in tan leather that extends from the seats to the lower dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes power windows and locks along with air conditioning, a removable roof panel, and an aftermarket audio system consisting of a Sony stereo, equalizer, speakers, and trunk-mounted amplifier and CD changer.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, boost pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer indicates under 3,800 miles.
The turbocharged 2.2-liter DOHC inline-four is equipped with a multi-port electronic fuel-injection system. An oil change was performed in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
