The Allante features bodywork that was designed and manufactured by Pininfarina in Turin, Italy, and later flown to Hamtramick, Michigan, for final assembly. This example is finished in white with a black power-operated soft top and exterior details include a red accent stripe, black painted mirror caps, chrome trim, a power antenna, headlight washers, and Pininfarina badges. The seller states that the soft top was serviced in preparation for the sale.
Silver 16″ forged alloy wheels wear Cadillac-logo center caps and are mounted with 225/55 Goodyear Eagle Sport tires. Factory equipment includes four wheel independent suspension, anti-lock disc brakes, and a traction control system.
The cabin features power-adjustable Recaro seats trimmed in Charcoal leather along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include cruise control, an onboard computer, automatic climate control, and a Delco Symphony sound system with CD and cassette players.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 4,700-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges with digital indicators. The digital odometer shows 28k miles.
The 4.5 liter V8 was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the front wheels through a Turbo Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transaxle. An oil change was reportedly performed in preparation for the sale.
