The truck was purchased by the seller in July 2020, and subsequent work has included removing the previously-fitted beltline stripes as well as replacing the tail lights and the side mirrors. It is finished in black over matching velour upholstery with red striping, and equipment includes fog lamps, a bed tonneau cover, an aftermarket air intake, a black billet steering wheel, power windows and locks, AutoMeter auxiliary gauges, air conditioning, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The truck is finished in black and features Syclone-specific body cladding and bumpers, red badging, fog lamps, aftermarket window tint, and a color-matched hard tonneau cover. The seller states that the hood was refinished under previous ownership.
Chrome 16″ wheels wear GMC center caps are wrapped in 245/50 Bridgestone Potenza RE950 tires. Bilstein shocks have been installed, and braking is handled by cross-drilled rotors up front with drums in the rear.
The cabin features manually adjustable sport seats upholstered in black velour with red piping and “Syclone” embroidered headrests. Matching fabric covers the door panels, while the dash and full-length center console are trimmed in gray plastic. Equipment includes power windows and locks, air conditioning, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The black aftermarket steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and boost pressure. An aftermarket pod mounted to the A-pillar contains AutoMeter air/fuel ratio and boost gauges, and a red warning light has been mounted to the left of the instrument cluster. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles.
The 4.3-liter V6 in the Syclone was built with lower-compression pistons, special intake and exhaust manifolds, a multipoint fuel-injection system, a Corvette-sourced twin-bore throttle body, and a Mitsubishi turbocharger with a Garrett water-to-air intercooler. Factory-rated output was 280 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a BorgWarner transfer case.
