This 1991 Toyota Bandeirante is an eight-passenger hardtop model that was refurbished in Brazil before being recently imported to the US. Work reportedly included reupholstered black vinyl seats, a mechanical refresh, and an overhaul of the suspension. The truck is finished in metallic gray with multicolored stripes, and power comes from a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter Mercedes-Benz inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Additional equipment includes an under-dash air conditioning system, a Biselli winch, front brush guard, roof rack with a ladder, Sony CD stereo, Hella fog lamps, Bilstein shocks, and 17” Mickey Thompson wheels.
The truck is finished in metallic gray and features yellow, red, and black side stripes as well as Bandeirante branding. Equipment includes a Biselli PTO front winch, a side-mounted ladder, rear pintle hitch, Hella Black Magic 500 driving lights mounted to the brush guard and roof basket, dual side-view mirrors, Ridgid Truck-Lite LED headlights, and tinted windows.
Black-finished 17” Mickey Thompson wheels feature locking front hubs and are wrapped in 285/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires that show 2020 date codes. A matching full-size spare is affixed to the roof basket. Braking is handled by front discs with rear drums, and the truck has been fitted with Bilstein shock absorbers and Rough Country shackles offering 1.75” of lift.
The cabin features custom front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with a matching center console, door panels, and salt-and-pepper carpets. Amenities include an under-dash air conditioning system, a Sony CD stereo, and a fire extinguisher.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-colored metal dashboard housing a replacement instrument cluster with a 160-km/h speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just under 71k kilometers (~44k miles).
The rear cabin features custom black vinyl fold-down bench seats that are equipped with lap belts and offer additional seating for up to six passengers.
The 4.0-liter Mercedes-Benz OM364 diesel inline-four was factory-rated at 89 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque and is said to have been fitted with a replacement wiring harness during the refurbishment. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
