This 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 NAS is #13 out of approximately 25 Canadian-specification trucks imported for the model year and was sold new at Jaguar Rolls-Royce Range Rover on Bay in Toronto, Ontario. Finished in white over a gray fabric interior, the truck is powered by a replacement V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in white with black fender flares, and equipment includes a body-colored external roll cage, a front brush guard and WARN winch, a rear bumper with an integrated hitch, a ladder, a rear spotlight, and a roof-mounted basket and quad front-facing spotlights. Rust remediation and paint touch-up around the door hinges was carried out in 2014 by Emiles Sports Car Performance of Santa Cruz, California, and three of the door lock cylinders were replaced around this time.
White-painted 16” steel wheels are mounted with 235/85 Mastercraft Stratus HT tires that show 2021 date codes, and a full-size spare is affixed to the swing-out rear carrier. Work in 2014 included replacing the front brake rotors, calipers, and pads, along with the rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, axle seals, and driver-side rear bump stop.
The cabin features front bucket seats, a middle bench, and four rear jump seats trimmed in patterned gray cloth upholstery. Equipment includes a padded roll bar, a Clarion CD stereo, air conditioning, and a center console with dual cupholders. The seller notes that the headliner has been recently replaced and the air conditioning serviced.
A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges that extend across the dashboard. The six-digit odometer was re-calibrated in 2001 and currently shows just under 182k miles.
The replacement V8 reportedly features a 4.6-liter block, electronic ignition, and a 3.9-liter upper intake plenum. A 30k-mile major service was performed in 2014, and an oil change was carried out in 2019.
A replacement five-speed manual transmission was installed in 2001, and power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a dual-range transfer case. The transfer case seal along with the driver-side rear axle shaft and housing were replaced in 2014, and rust remediation was also performed on the underbody.
