The car was recently acquired by the seller from his stepfather, who purchased it in 1998 and kept it in both Florida and New York. Service performed since 2015 is said to have included servicing the brakes and air conditioning as well as replacing the shocks, suspension bushings, timing chain tensioner, valve cover gaskets, fuel pump, and spark plugs. Service reportedly performed in preparation for the sale included changing the engine oil as well as flushing the brake fluid and coolant.
