This 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is #76 of 300 Limited Edition North American Specification examples produced for model year. The truck was delivered new to Goodwin Motor Group in Brunswick, Maine, and spent time in Ohio before it was acquired by the seller in 2020. Subsequent refurbishment work is said to have included a repaint in Willow Green, refinishing of the wheels, and replacement of the seats, door covers, tires, and front brakes. Modifications include a Warn Winch, an aftermarket roof basket and rear ladder, aftermarket bumpers, and a CD stereo.
The body has been refinished in Willow Green with a white roof and is fitted with checker-plate body armor, an ARB front bumper and bull bar, a fabricated steel rear bumper, and an aftermarket roof basket and rear ladder mounted to the interior/exterior roll cage. Additional details include a sunroof, safari windows, a Warn winch, and a receiver hitch. Refurbishment work included replacing the windshield, wheel arch flares, and seals as well as repainting the trim and powder-coating the roof basket and the roll cage.
The five-spoke 16″ alloy wheels have been refinished and wear 265/75 Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tires showing 2020 date codes. The pitman arm and the front brake rotors, calipers, and pads were replaced in April 2021.
The cabin is fitted with replacement front seats upholstered in gray vinyl along with matching replacement door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, an aftermarket CD stereo, and rear jump seats.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 85k miles.
The 4.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 182 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque. The oil has been changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel-drive system with a dual-range transfer case.
