The truck is finished in green over a tan cloth and vinyl interior, and its 4.0-liter inline-six is linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The Jeep was delivered new in Medium Fern Green and features a tan Bestop soft top with tinted windows, which was recently replaced. The body bushings were replaced at that time, and a replacement rear tailgate is said to have been installed and painted to match under previous ownership. Additional equipment includes a Rough Country winch along with aftermarket bumpers as well as rocker guards and rear corner guards that have been finished with bedliner material.
Polished 15″ Pro Comp wheels are mounted with 35 x 12.50″ Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires. A matching spare is mounted to a swing-away carrier at the rear. The truck features an aftermarket long-arm suspension system, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The brakes are said to have been overhauled with replacement rotors, calipers, drums, wheel cylinders brake shoes, parking brake cables, and stainless-steel brake lines.
The cabin features high-back front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in tan vinyl with patterned cloth inserts. All-weather floor mats protect the floors, and additional equipment includes a roll bar, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and a locking center console.
A two-spoke airbag steering wheel frames a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 100-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 49k miles.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated for 181 horsepower and 222 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller reports that a fluid change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed NV3500 manual transmission paired with a dual-range NP231 transfer case. The slip yolk was eliminated from the transfer case and additional modifications include a CV-style rear driveshaft, a limited-slip rear differential, and 4.10:1 gears.
