The C5 Z06 features fiberglass bodywork and a fixed hard top as well as weight-saving features such as thinner glass and reduced sound-deadening material. Gray-finished 17″ and 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with 265/40 front and 295/35 Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2015 and 2016 date codes. The 5.7-liter LS6 V8 received a power increase to 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque beginning with the 2002 model year. Stainless Works long-tube headers are installed, and an oil change was reportedly performed in preparation for the sale.
