This 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 roadster was purchased new by the seller at D&E Car Exchange Inc. of Wilmington, North Carolina, and it now has just over 2,300 miles. Introduced for the 2003 model year, the third-generation Viper was initially only offered as a roadster. This example is painted Viper Black Clear Coat and equipped with a black soft top, a hood scoop and louvers, HID headlights, fog lights, side-exit exhaust outlets, and a rear diffuser. The Carfax report shows no history of accidents or other damage, and the seller notes blemishes on the rear deck lid and bumper.
Polished-aluminum wheels measure 18″ in diameter up front and 19″ out back, and they are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires that measure 275/35 and 345/30, respectively. Braking is handled by gray-finished and Viper-branded four-piston calipers at each corner.
The bolstered seats are upholstered in black leather with gray microsuede inserts. Viper-branded floor mats line the footwells, and other equipment includes alloy pedals covers, air conditioning, power windows, and a CD stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates just over 2,300 miles.
The 8.3-liter V10 was rated at 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque when new, and the oil was most recently changed in March 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
