This 2005 Aston Martin DB9 is finished in silver over black leather and powered by a 5.9-liter V12 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. Features include swan doors, 19″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and an updated audio system. The car spent time in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut before its acquisition by the seller in 2016. Subsequent service included replacement of the spark plugs, an air conditioning recharge, oil changes, and a brake fluid flush.
The DB9 was styled by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker and incorporates swan doors that open slightly upward. This example is finished in silver and is said to have had paint protection film applied to the hood, front bumper, front fenders, headlights and side mirrors. The seller notes that touch-up paint was applied to the hood near the windshield, areas of peeling paint protection are visible on both side mirrors, and there are scratches under the front bumper cover.
Factory 19″ 10-spoke wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/40 up front and 275/35 out back that show 2018 date codes. Four-piston brake calipers are paired with slotted discs at all four corners, and the brake fluid was replaced in June 2020.
The 2+2 cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats with black leather upholstery over matching carpets. Wood veneer accents the door tops, vent surrounds, and the flip-up navigation LCD panel in the center of the dashboard. Modifications under prior ownership included a K40 radar detector, a backup camera, and an Alpine PDX-5 amplifier, while the seller added a Dension audio gateway behind the dash with an iPod connector in the glove box. The Alcantara headliner was replaced in 2018 by Coachtrim Ultimate Interior of Danbury, Connecticut.
The dash is covered with black leather and contains a 220-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep tachometer, and dual LCD screens. The odometer shows 26k miles, 5k of which were added in six years of current ownership.
The 5.9-liter DOHC 48-valve V12 produced 450 horsepower with 420 lb-ft of torque when new. The spark plugs were changed in 2020 and an oil change was performed in June 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle.
