The exterior is painted in Jet Black and features Alpina aerodynamic bodywork consisting of front and rear fascias, a lower chin spoiler with debossed Alpina lettering, a rear spoiler, and Alpina badging. Additional equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights, front fog lights, a power sunroof, a climate-comfort windscreen, and Shadowline trim.
Silver-finished 21″ Alpina Classic wheels feature concealed valve stems and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The Alpina sport-tuned suspension features Active Roll Stabilization Control, and additional driver aids include Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, and anti-lock braking with Dynamic Brake Control. The front control arms and bushings were replaced during previous ownership.
The cabin features black Nasca textured leather on the seating surfaces and dark ash trim accents the dashboard, doors, and center console. Equipment includes heated and ventilated, power-adjustable front seats as well as heated rear seats, Comfort Access, active cruise control, Night Vision, soft-close doors, powered rear sunshades, the rear entertainment package, and a Harman-Kardon Logic7 sound system with CD changer.
The Alpina-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a blue-hued instrument cluster that includes a 200-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and three digital displays. The odometer indicates under 61k miles.
The supercharged and intercooled 4.4-liter V8 produced 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque when new. Maintenance in 2019 included rebuilding the supercharger with the replacement of the clutch bearings, and an oil change was performed and the air filters and spark plugs were replaced in January 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed Switchtronic automatic transmission and a revised Alpina differential.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Steve Thomas BMW of Camarillo, California, colors and equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $124,375.
