This 2008 Honda S2000 CR is one of 699 Club Racer models produced for the US market, and it is finished in Berlina Black over black and yellow upholstery and powered by a 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. CR equipment includes a removable body-color hardtop, a chassis brace, aerodynamic aids, graphite-painted 17″ alloy wheels, and revised suspension and steering systems, and this example is also equipped with air conditioning and a CD stereo. The car was first delivered to Southeastern Honda of Palm Bay, Florida, and spent time in Virginia and Pennsylvania prior to its acquisition by the seller in 2017.
The exterior is finished in Berlina Black, and CR equipment includes a revised front spoiler and a raised rear wing, a lightweight removable black hardtop, and added chassis bracing in lieu of a soft top. Additional equipment includes xenon headlights, body-colored roll-bar cowlings, power mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets with polished tips.
Graphite-finished 17″ five-spoke wheels wear Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires, which measure 215/45 at the front and 255/40out back and show 2007 date codes. The CR model features higher-rate springs, stiffer anti-roll bars, and a quicker steering ratio compared to the standard AP2 S2000.
The cabin features sport seats upholstered in black Alcantara with yellow inserts and stitching. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a CD stereo paired with an eight-speaker sound system. Additional features include S2000-branded floor mats, door sill covers, an aluminum shift knob, and aluminum pedals.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 7,400 miles.
The 2.2-liter F22C1 inline-four was factory rated at 237 horsepower at 7,800 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 rpm.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Southeastern Honda of Palm Bay, Florida, colors and equipment, and a total vehicle price of $37,935.
