The exterior is finished in AMG Alubeam silver (047U), a paint which reportedly used particles a quarter of the size of those conventionally used, thus reflecting light more evenly. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, a sunroof, quad exhaust outlets, and polished window surrounds along with unique front and rear valances, rocker extensions, and model-specific badging.
AMG twin-spoke 20″ forged alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires measuring 255/35 at the front and 275/35 at the rear. The car is equipped with AMG-branded calipers over ventilated and cross-drilled disc brakes at each corner. Service in May 2021 included replacement of the Active Body Control pump and the front brake pads and rotors along with a brake fluid flush.
The cabin is upholstered in two-tone brown Exclusive Nappa leather. Amenities include an Alcantara headliner, carbon-fiber trim on the center console and doors, heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, Keyless Go, automatic climate control, active cruise control with Distronic, COMAND infotainment with navigation, night view assist, and a rear-view camera.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer has 33k miles.
‘AMG 40th Anniversary’ and ‘One out of 40’ badging adorns the center stack and console.
The twin-turbocharged 6.0L V12 was factory rated at 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. An oil change and a coolant flush were completed in May 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission.
