This 2008 Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder is #301 of 1,960 examples built to commemorate Porsche’s victory at the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring. The car was purchased new by the seller at New England Performance Cars in Nashua, New Hampshire, and it now has 51k miles. It is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Carrera Red Natural leather and is powered by a mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, automatic climate control, bi-xenon headlights, self-dimming mirrors, heated and adaptive sport seats, a sport exhaust system, the Sport Chrono package, and a Bose sound system. Service since 2020 included an oil change and replacement of the battery and filters.
The bodywork is finished in GT Silver Metallic. Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with body-colored washer nozzles, a speed-dependent rear spoiler, and central exhaust outlets. The cabin features heated and adaptive sport seats upholstered in Carrera Red Natural leather with a matching dashboard and door panels, along with brushed silver trim and silver-colored seatbelts. Amenities include cruise control, a wind deflector, automatic climate control, stainless-steel door sill trim, a dashboard-mounted Sport Chrono timer, an aluminum driver’s footrest, and an polished-aluminum shift knob. A Pioneer stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is hooked to the Bose sound system, and the removed factory stereo is included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel sits in front of an exposed instrument cluster housing a central tachometer with 7,200-rpm redline, a 190-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 51k miles.
The serialized plaque located on the glovebox door shows the vehicle to be #301 of 1,960 examples built.
The 3.4-liter M97 flat-six is mounted ahead of the rear storage area and was rated at 303 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque in RS60 specification, and it is fitted with a factory sport exhaust system. An oil change was performed by the seller in 2020 and the air filter was replaced at the same time, and the battery was replaced in 2021. Service records and parts receipts are included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle, and corrosion on the underside components is noted by the seller.
