The supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LS9 V8 in the ZR1 was factory rated at 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque and features dry-sump lubrication. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a 3.42:1 ratio limited-slip differential.
