The series-hybrid drivetrain features a 20.1-kilowatt-hour battery pack that sends power to two rear-mounted electric motors, which were factory rated at a combined 402 horsepower and 959 lb-ft of torque. A turbocharged 2.0-liter Ecotec inline-four from General Motors is used as a range extender and supplies power through an AC generator. An oil change was performed and the starting battery was reportedly replaced in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a direct-drive transmission and a limited-slip differential.
