The car was ordered with European delivery and first registered in Virginia, and it spent time in Maryland prior to the seller’s acquisition in 2020. It now has 55k miles, and service during current ownership included an oil change and replacement of the battery, left-front tire pressure sensor, tires, and clutch components.
The exterior is finished in black with a matching power-retractable soft top that features Black Edition branding. The seller notes scuffs on the Black Edition-script door sill trim.
The multifunction and heated steering wheel frames a 190-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates just over 55k miles.
The 3.4-liter flat-six is mounted ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 320 horsepower, an increase of 10 horsepower over the standard Boxster S. The oil was changed upon the seller’s acquisition in May 2020, and the battery was reportedly replaced in May 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Records indicate the clutch disc, dual-mass flywheel, pressure plate, and release bearing were replaced in May 2020.
